Digital Motion X-Ray (DMX) is a video-based fluoroscopy system that uses static x-rays with digital technology to view the spine and other intricate areas of the body in real time motion. The DMX machine views areas of the body at 30 exposures per second using real time motion to capture how muscles, ligaments, bones and tissues move. This allows the technicians to view areas that static films and MRI scans miss.

The DMX helps our chiropractic physician evaluate all 22 major ligaments of the cervical spine at once using up to 2,700 x-ray images. The x-ray procedure using DMX is performed with the patient moving in a weight-bearing position using the muscles, nerves and ligaments that produce the pain in their body.
